Product Description
LINQTAPE™ PIT1A-ESD-LO is a high-temperature resistant, low-outgassing antistatic polyimide tape featuring a 1 mil polyimide film backing, acrylic adhesive. Designed for demanding electronic manufacturing environments, it offers excellent thermal resistance, electrical insulation, toughness, and puncture resistance.
The antistatic polymer coating helps minimize electrostatic discharge (ESD) during handling and processing, making the tape suitable for applications involving static-sensitive electronic components. Its combination of electrical, mechanical, thermal, and chemical properties supports reliable performance across a wide operating temperature range of -73°C to 260°C.
LINQTAPE™ PIT1A-ESD-LO is suitable for printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing, wave soldering, solder dipping, and high-temperature fabrication processes. With low outgassing characteristics of RML < 1.0% and CVCM < 0.1%, the tape is also suited for applications requiring controlled volatile and condensable material emissions.
The tape features an amber-colored polyimide backing with a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive and is supplied in rolls with a single release liner for convenient handling and application.

Storage and Handling
LINQTAPE™ PIT1A-ESD-LO has a shelf life of 12 months when stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated environment. Recommended storage conditions are 10°C to 25°C with relative humidity between 40% and 75%. Keep the tape away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, dust, and other contaminants.
